Pictures taken of various visits to the Granada City.
Granada City is a place I love. It is a vibrant place, full of students, street performers and plenty to see. It is the capital of Granada Province in the autonomous community of Andalusia. It lies just under 1000m above sea level and is about an hour’s drive from Spain’s Costa Tropical and the Mediterranean Sea.
They still give you a “tapa” with a beer, which is a habit that is already lost in parts of Andalusia where holiday-makers and tourists go. I live pretty close and I have been many times.
I always take my camera with me. You’ll notice that there are no photos of Alhambra though. That’s because when I went to the Alhambra was in the days of film cameras and not digital. I’ll have to go again with the DSLR.
Very close to Granada is the Sierra Nevada. Theoretically you can ski and go for a swim near Motoril in the same day.
