I have to admit that I find logo design hard to do – I tend to over complicate them. Never the less there are a couple with which I am happy. My snail logo below is created with the QR of my name and came from the way I sign my painting work. It’s an easy shape to recreate with a brush so I adapted the paint version to a logo design in vectors.
These days I tend to pass the logo design jobs to my daughter who has a knack for them and works in vectors as easily as I do – maybe even better?
Logo design is important in the graphic communication world. It serves to reinforce branding and make a product or manufacturer instantly recognisable. It’s for this reason that I like to produce the spoof logos that your can see on this page. I’m far better at messing with them than creating them.
